Abel Ramos
2010 looks set to be a pretty good year for Abel Ramos, following an intense year remixing. He has finally found time in the studio to concentrate on new material. “With Love Music” will be his new label alongside Spinnin Records from The Netherlands. The remixes have not stopped, new and exciting releases with surface throughout the year, which should continue to get him props from likes of David Guetta and Roger Sanchez.
2009 was a very special year for Abel. His release on Axtone “Rotterdam With Love” really opened up his sound to a generation of new producers, the groove just worked on the floor and everybody wanted a piece of the action. The remix requests poured in, with the highlight being the request by David Guetta to remix the hits “When Love Takes Over” and “Sexy Bitch”.
Behind the DJ there is a wealth of experience, which has earned him a number of prolific awards in Spain. In 2001 his sound and set began to be exported to countries such as The Netherlands, UK, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Korea, France, Peru, Morocco and many others.
He has on a number of occasions been awarded the best national deejay (Spain) by different media publications and was voted in the top 250 in DJ magazine (UK). Abel was also the official representative for Rolling Stone Magazine´s Spanish tour in 2004 and the official image for the first videogame dedicated to the world of the DJ for the Sony Playstation: “DJ Decks&FX, Live Session”.
